A fundraiser to benefit “The Downtown Sacramento Masonic Temple Building Fund”, a non-profit organization. The goal is to raise $26,000 towards the preservation of this historical building.

The painting depicts a sunny afternoon view looking at the building from the northwest from the corner of 12th & J St. in Sacramento as the sunlight dances on the southern entrance side of the building. The U.S.A. flag is proudly presented on the top of the building. Vignettes of the interior surround the main subject. One may take a “visual tour” of the interior floors of the building by viewing the vignettes from the bottom to the top of the painting. Symbols of the Organization displayed in the painting include the Masonic Compass and Square, Eastern Star, DeMolay and Jobs Daughters Logos. Vignettes include: The Grand Ballroom; Compass & Square; Eastern Star; DeMolay & Jobs Daughters Logos; The Great Organ in the loft; The Grand Entry Stairway; The mezzanine stairway; The Red Room; The Main Lodge; Hallway; The Eastern Star Room; The Blue Room; The Main Lodge Room; an evening scene of the Main Entry Doorway; The Library; The Billiard Room; The Lounge.
